Don't go outside without your muffler! So said my dad all throughout my childhood. Muffler? Like the thing in your car? Apparently "muffler" is a geriatric word for "scarf".  You'll need this, and a few other accessories, to survive the winter in style.

Your best friend at the airport is not the TSA representative, nor the gate agent, nor the nice lady making those Auntie Anne's pretzels.  Your best friend at the airport is your carry-on bag.  When you're packing up for a girlfriend getaway or regular weekend trip, with all the restrictions on luggage, you want your carry-on "personal item" (i.e. your purse), to be the Ultimate Uber-Bag.

You didn't manage that "Spring Cleaning" you kept talking about, and Summer came and went, as did your motivation to clear out the old clothes.  Before the Holiday Season brings you all sorts of new things to stuff into your closet, give it a break and purge a bit.

We have previously mentioned that we do not condone traveling in sweatpants.  Sure, they're soft and cushy, but there are better, more sophisticated options, that are just as comfortable AND have pockets where you can keep your ID, and boarding pass.

Buy low, sell high!  Today's bear market is tomorrow's bull market, and a bunch of other stock market comparisons.  Investing in your future is paramount.  Although today we mean wardrobe investment pieces, not stocks and bonds.  Don't get us wrong, we're big fans of Suze Orman and Warren Buffett, but it's fall, you're probably doing your Back to School shopping, and rather than overspending on trendy things, like leather leggings, why not use your precious coins to invest in a few select pieces that will last you more than a season or two.

Yeah, we're still working the whole Back-To-School angle.  So what if we're not in school anymore? We still deserve the glorious exhilaration that is Back-To-School shopping! Although now we can put all the money, that used to go towards pencils and TrapperKeepers, to better use. Boots.

Signs Fall is coming: temperatures cooling, kids going back to school, leaves changing color, and the arrival of pumpkin-anything at Starbucks (latte, muffin, chai, etc). You'll need a good Fall coat, but not just any coat. Your Fall coat should double as your "go to" coat, for when you "go to" some fun place that is not your hometown (whatever Staycation-ers).
